ASA Championship Meet
Good morning,
The ASA Championship meet is just around the corner and for those of you that aren't sure what the ASA Championship meet is, let me explain.
The ASA Championship meet is 6 different sessions: each sessions with roughly 20 teams competing. The meet takes place at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. It is a great meet to take apart in. It is a wonderful opportunity for kids to participate in a large meet, and it inspires many to start swimming year-round. I encourage everyone to participate: it's a fun meet and we have a Friday session so your weekend will be free for vacation! However, just as a little side note, coaches are not able to be in the water with swimmers at ASA. So, only kids who can swim by themselves are able to swim at ASA.
Our session is Friday, June 27th in the morning. Warm up will start around 8:00am and the meet will start at 9:30am. Please RSVP as soon as possible. When you are RSVPing yes for the meet, please also select up to two individual events that your kid would like to swim. Everyone is allowed to swim what they want at this meet instead of being assigned events. You can RSVP under the meet schedule tab on the team website. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, June 20th, so please don't wait till the last minute!
Please, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
Go Stingrays!
