We will try to provide an update each Friday and hopefully this will keep everyone informed and aware of what's coming next!

To start, we had our first week of practice and the team is off to a great start.  It appears the kids are having fun (goal #1) and we're sure their swimming will continue to improve as the season gets underway.  We officially have 110 swimmers so the pool has been busy this week!

Important dates to keep in mind:

• Monday, May 22nd, at 7:00pm we will have a Parents meeting to go over the volunteer positions and process.  Keep in mind that each family is expected to volunteer for the roles needed for a successful swim meet, and during this meeting we will review the overall process and expectations.  Don't worry if you've never worked a swim meet...we have plenty of experienced parents who will help you out.  A meeting invite will be sent next week for this CRITICAL meeting.
• Tuesday, May 30th, we will have an Intra-team meet.  The coaches will create two teams and we'll have a practice meet to ensure we're ready for the real thing.  Ava will publish more details on this as the time approaches.
• Thursday, June 2nd, we will have our first official meet of the year!  Mark your calendar, and more information will be shared in the future.

One request from the Oxford Mill board.  If your kid rides their bike to the pool for practice, please ask them to store their bike in the bike-rack to the left of the entrance gate.  The grass on the righthand side of the gate is getting "abused" by the bikes so please help keep the neighborhood amenities in great shape.  Thanks for your help on this!
