Hello Oxford Mill Swim Team Parents,

I hope that everyone is have a great spring break. The end of the school year is quickly approaching which means that the season is just around the corner. Registration is now open on our website!

To start, let me introduce you to our team's coaching staff. Our entire coaching staff is returning for another fun season. My name is Carson Kennedy, and I’m super excited to be Oxford Mill’s Head Coach. Anthony Margarite, Allison Swift, and Agam Horowitz will also be returning to our coaching staff as Assistant Coaches. I’m very thrilled about our team and staff this year. We hope that each kid will have fun while also making new friends and learning how to swim. We will also have volunteer coaches and junior coaches that allow us to provide more one-on-one attention to the swimmers.

The first day of pre-season practice will be Monday, May 9th. Our preseason is from May 9th-May 25th, Monday-Thursday. We won’t have practice on Thursday, May 26th due to it being the last day of school. The practice times are as follows:

6 & Under: 4:30-5 pm

7-8: 4:00-4:30 pm

9-10: 5:00-5:45 pm

11 & Ups 5:45-6:30 pm

Our normal summer schedule will be starting on Tuesday, May 31st. We will have Monday, May 30th off from practice due to Memorial Day. The practice times for Monday-Thursday are as follows:

6 & Under: 10:30-11:00 am

7-8: 9:45-10:30 am

9-10: 8:45-9:45 am

11 & Up: 11:00 am-noon

Times for Fun Friday are as follows:

8 & Under: 9-10am

9 & Ups: 10-11am

Our first meet will be Thursday, June 2nd. Following that, we will have a meet on June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd, and June 28th. We are scheduled to have our ASA Championship on Friday, July 1st in the afternoon.

We will have a parent informational meeting closer to the start of the season. We are open to swimmers and families from other neighborhoods, so feel free to share this email.
