Hello Oxford Mill Swim Team Families,

Please read this entire email because there is a lot of important information to know.

We are swimming at Dunmoor this Thursday. Please be at the pool by 4:40 for a 4:50 warm up. The meet will start at 5:30. Here is the address:

10600 Centennial Dr, Alpharetta

Our bullpen will be in the parking lot next to the pool. Please bring some chairs and blankets to sit on for your kids. There will be a set of bleachers and some deck space for parents to sit and watch the meet. Our parking will be on the street, so please do not park in front of any driveways. 

Dunmoor is a much smaller team than us (first time this season that we are the bigger team) so we changed some things in the meet to make it more fun since it won't be as competitive. We changed the 11&up 100 free to the 25 free. I have put all of our 11&ups in this event as a fun way to remember the good old days when we were 10&under. We changed the 15-18 relay to a mixed 40 age limit relay. This means that the ages of the 4 swimmers on the relay will have to add up to 40 or less. I think it will be a lot of fun watching our 8&unders swim with the 15-18s. Some kids will be on these relays but not everyone will be. Please be supportive and enjoy these relays. Due to them have such a small team, all boys relays events will be mixed relays. This allows the other team to have relays of both boys and girls. We will have a couple of these relays so that all the kids will be on a relay and no one misses out on the fun.

We are having a Western theme. We will be giving out a Cowboy and Cowgirl award to the boy and the girl that look the best in this theme. This will be before our warm up, so if you are participating please show up early. Please participate!

Dunmoor is also putting on a raffle for some super cool national team swim gear. It will be $5 for a raffle ticket or $20 for 5 raffle tickets. There two raffles. Each raffle has a pair of arena goggles, arena swim bag, quarter zip, and USA swim cap. 

We will be doing a team picture next Wednesday at 10:30 so make sure you can come. I'll be giving out more details about next weeks practice schedule later this week.
